JoDee's daughter, Elya was the inspiration for the music and artwork for Golden Butterfly of Chiang Mai.
Elya worked as a volunteer teaching English in Cambodia. She also taught English in Korea and Thailand. Like her mother, Elya is an artist. You can find her artwork on Instagram.
